Field Commander Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi (草薙の剣 Kusanagi no Tsurugi?), or just Kusanagi (草薙 Kusanagi?) was a powerful Autobot warrior, serving as the Field Commander during the war on Cybertron. Kusnagi being a Field Commander, was considered to be on par with the Primes in strength and physical prowess, being unnaturally more gifted in warfare and statregy.
Throughout the war, Kusanagi fought alongside his Autobot comrades, even the many primes proceeding Opimus. A considerate super-genius in the art of warfare, tactics and strategies, he was soon as one of the most fearsome warriors. He even shown his profound combat capabilities and strenght against Megatron. However, ever since the ending of the war, he was lost to the distand stars on the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, a Vanguard-class Deep Space Interceptor.

Superior Strength: Kusanagi was considered as one of the most physically strongest autobots, rivalling even the likes of Optimus Prime (AU) and Megatron (AU). He's able to easily lift past 100+ tons of solid metals, and even fling multiple decepticons with relative ease.
Superior Speed & Agility: Kusanagi was a highly reactive autobots, he is able to process his perception to beyond even cybertronian limits, enabling for bodily coordination to near light-speeds. His physical speed in robot mode is also quite impressive, just able to rival Bumblebee's speed in vehicle mode.
Superior Durability & Endurance: Flight: As a jet, Kusanagi was capable of hypersonic flight (between Mach 5 to Mach 10), being the Autobos fastest aerial Autobot.
